The Girdwood Clinic building project continues to progress. To date the architectural program, concept design, schematic design and design development phases are behind us as we proceed into the final stage of the design process, construction documents. The construction documents are expected to be complete in 4-6 weeks and once that phase of the work is complete the project will to ready to advertise for construction. Construction is expected to begin this spring and continue through the summer into fall. The clinic will move into, and fully operate from, a completed Phase One building this fall. Immediately following the transition into the Phase One building the old clinic will be removed to make room for Phase Two clinic buildout. Phase Two work is expected to be complete in the spring of 2022.
The Girdwood Health Clinic is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to provide expanded healthcare services to the Turnagain Arm communities! We are currently in the design phase of our new building project, with hopes of breaking ground this summer.
Watch our progress as we grow on our existing site at the corner of Hightower and Lindblad in downtown Girdwood. The new building will be built in two phases to ensure continued healthcare services to our patients throughout the construction.
Just imagine a new building designed and built with the unique criteria of a health facility in mind. The Clinic’s medical staff would have the latest tools and technology to respond to your family’s health concerns in a safer and more efficient way.
Our capital campaign budget is $6.7M and we have currently raised nearly $6M. Help us make this vision a reality. Contact the Clinic if you wish to make a donation. You can also donate through Pick.Click.Give when you sign up for your PFD!!
